Larry Skinner retired in 2004 from Vought Aircraft Company after 36 years in Materials and Facilities management. He served as Volunteer Board Member at Texas Trust Credit Union for the past 30 years, 21 years as the Board Chair. In addition, he served as a volunteer member of the Vought Retirees Club Executive Committee for the past 17 years, 14 years as President, and on Dallas County Appraisal Review Board for 12 years, retiring in 2019.

Pamela Stephens was the former Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of Texas Trust Credit Union, retired from a 37-year career in the credit union industry. During this time, she was the President and CEO of Security One Federal Credit Union for 25 years, until overseeing the 2013 merger between Security One and Texas Trust. Stephens’ influence reached beyond the credit unions she served, extending to leadership positions within the Cornerstone Credit Union League Board of Directors and the Cornerstone Foundation, where she served in various capacities. She currently serves on the Board of the Texas Trust Gives Foundation and is an advisory member of the Texas Trust Credit Union Board of Directors.

Karen Sauls was employed for 25 years at LTV/Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, retiring as Manager of Cash Operations. She has been an associate Board Member of Texas Trust Credit Union for 28 years and has recently been named to the Board of Directors. She is currently the Financial Administrator for the Silver Serenaders of Texas, Inc. (a non-profit senior vocal group) and is a Vice President of the Vought Retiree Club.

Peggy Esparza started her career with Texas Trust in August 1995 in Branch Operations as a Part-time Teller. She worked her way up to Assistant Manager of Accounting while attending the University of Texas at Arlington where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. In March 2012 Esparza shifted back to the operations side of the credit union as the Vice President of Deposit Operations who was charged with driving a new strategic business unit and focus in Card Operations, Deposit Services, Overdraft Services, and Fraud Investigations. As a member of the Senior Management team, Peggy was frequently called upon to lead initiatives for the credit union such as directing the transition of the credit card process from a vendor to an in-house operation in 2013. The second phase of this included growing the portfolio with efforts resulting in the portfolio balances growing to $25M. Peggy completed her Master of Business Administration at University of Texas at Arlington. In early 2015 she was promoted to Senior Vice President of Accounting and Deposit Operations. In November 2021 Esparza was promoted to Chief Financial Officer.

Cameron Newfarmer is a designated Credit Union Young Professional with 12 years of experience in the credit union movement ranging in operations, accounting, branch management, analytics, and project management. Prior to joining Texas Trust Credit Union Cameron worked with the National Credit Union Foundation as Coordinator of Finance & Administration. Cameron graduated from Southwest CUNA Management School (SCMS) in 2021, and he received his Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) designation in 2014. Cameron served as Texas Trust Credit Union’s Community Unity Team Chair from 2017 to 2021. In 2023, Cameron was named Cornerstone League’s Credit Union Young Professional of the Year.

Washima Huq was a Business and Community Engagement Partner for Texas Trust Credit Union for 4.5 years specializing in financial literacy, before assuming the role as the Executive Director of the Texas Trust Gives Foundation in 2022. She has an MBA in Marketing from The University of North Texas, a BBA in Management from The University of Texas at Arlington, and an executive certification in sustainable business strategies from Harvard Business School Online. In 2021, she was named Cornerstone League’s Credit Union Young Professional of the Year and received the Shining Star in Banking Award by The University of Texas at Arlington’s Student Society of Real Estate. In 2022, she was the youngest and first Asian-American to receive the Greater Arlington Chamber’s Rising Star Award and was a member of their inaugural class of 40 under 40. In 2024, she was recognized as one of the Bold Women Award recipients by the Girls Inc. of Tarrant County. Washima is a public speaker on philanthropy, as well as diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging- advocating for minorities, women, and youth empowerment. She graduated from Leadership Mansfield in 2020, and currently serves on several city, school, chamber, nonprofit and credit union industry boards and committees around North Texas. She is also the sponsor of Texas Trust Credit Union’s Community Unity Team, which spearheads volunteerism and employee giving for Texas Trust Credit Union’s employees.
